Star-ling Wallpaper by Mini Moderns
One of our clients, Mini Moderns, recently launched their beautifully executed Star-ling wallpaper, a nod to to Mark and Keith's first wallpaper design - Swallows from 2004.
When Mini Moderns spend the weekends at their Dungeness retreat, they look forward to the open night skies, when they marvel at the clarity of the vivid star constellations. Some of their beach house Saturday nights have lasted till dawn, when stars turn into Sunday morning murmurations of starlings.
Star-ling is the second wallpaper design to launch from the forthcoming Mini Moderns collection, Saturday Night/Sunday morning, in which the design duo revisit the cultural influences that shaped their design aesthetic during their teenage years, growing up in the north during the 1980s.
