StolenForm: Industrial Ceramics

We've long been fans of StolenForm's Brick Vase, which transforms the humble London Brick into an iconic homeware piece. We were excited to see the whole range developed to include Salt & Pepper Pipes; Brick dishes; Chimney Cap Vases and other industrially inspired ceramics. Their recent shoot with top interior product photographer Yeshen Venema and stylist Mugdha Sapte really shows off the versatility of the collection.

Christian Marsden is the designer-maker behind StolenForm and has long been inspired by the urban environment. Years spent journeying through London’s streets led him to notice afresh the ubiquitous and foundational features of the city that are so often overlooked: a brick, a manhole cover over a drain or a piece of piping could be reclaimed and elevated to a new level of function and aesthetic value.

Each product is individually handmade in small batch productionsin slip-cast earthenware ceramic and finished in a variety of colour glazes.

Really looking forward to seeing StolenForm at Pulse this May and to see their latest product the Tin Can Mug, inspired by the humble tin can.
