Contemporary dining room furniture, designed with style and built to last, is a staple at British furniture company Case. Working with a number of renowned designers, Case has a range of dining tables and chairs that will cater to all manner of occasions, whatever the season. Dining room furniture is made using modern manufacturing techniques and choice materials, such as oak and walnut. Believing good design should be accessible to as many people as possible, Case makes furniture that is smart, practical, aesthetic, long-lasting, and honestly priced. Its dining tables and chairs are perfect for hosting gatherings, large or small.

Dulwich Bar Table from £1,680 and Profile Stool from £440 both by Matthew Hilton

Case has worked with award-winning British designer Matthew Hilton to create a number of original dining tables and chairs. Hilton very much believes in creating furniture for people to live with, an ideal that Case attaches great importance to. The designer’s work continues a successful line of traditional furniture forms and honest designs.

Ella Dining Chair

The new Ella Dining Chair by Matthew Hilton is a creative reinterpretation of the ubiquitous ‘tub chair’. To set Ella apart, Hilton designed a cutaway under the chair’s arms, giving it a charming elegance and personality. As a result, Ella is an inviting dining chair, with a finish that is tactile and tasteful.

The Dulwich Bar Table and Profile Chair

The Bar Table, a new addition to the Dulwich range by Matthew Hilton, is crafted with expert attention to detail. The table’s mitred joints, visible through-tenons, and balanced proportions underscore its enduring quality. Constructed using solid wood legs and a solid-edge veneered top (in black stain, oak, or walnut finishes).

Also by Matthew Hilton, the Dulwich Round Table perfectly compliments the Profile Chair as featured in the most recent series of Grand Designs (below). The chair’s sleek and stackable frame is crafted from solid timber (in oak or walnut); a soft leather-upholstered seat pad adds a smart material contrast. With splayed legs and a recessed back, the Profile Chair will provide comfort into the early hours.
